A brother asked: “Father, Abba Barsanuphios says that there were only three men left with power from God. If this was 550 years after Christ, how many are there today?”
Fr. Justin said to the brother: “Three hundred. For in the end times the saints will do signs and wonders, but will be unknown due to humility.”"

That one guy in the back though. He’s the only one who ACTUALLY runs to him. As the the others just walk.
A living human being can become an apparition; ghostlike in existence. You have already given them a funeral in your mind and mourned their departing from your life. Slowly mending your heart in the aftermath of sorrow, memories are stored away in the furthest depths of the library of your mind.
And then they pass by you. Your heart jumps in hope for this reality, but quickly sinks into despair when you realize they’re just a ghost that will never be apart of your life again.
I like him; I don’t love him just yet. Its too early to put my heart into something that only exists in my thoughts.
Before, I would have never even thought of wanting to jump into something with out serious feelings. They are tainted, frivolous but with the underlying sense of loyalty if a something were to ensue. My heart doesn’t flutter, but it does race being in his presence.
I just wish he would notice me beyond our studies. But his time is consumed by his future and ambition.
